In this case study, we will explore how Vidio, one of the leading streaming platforms in Southeast Asia, tackled mobile application security challenges such as unauthorized access, content piracy, and application tampering. By leveraging DoveRunner’s advanced anti-tampering and anti-hacking features, Vidio successfully enhanced the security of its mobile application against evolving cyber threats.
Challenges
● Unaware of the Piracy Quantum Over Different Channels and region (Their analysis showed piracy only in the social media and telegram space)
● Revenue loss due to Piracy

● Widevine keys hijacking and re-streaming of live matches such EPL.

● Conducted 2weeks POC to identify the landscape of piracy with their original 5 popular web series.
● Daily Report With Respect To Newlinks Identification, take down status shared.
● Different platforms and regions and CDN’s identified hosting the pirated content.
● The Video Cipher solution helps in securing the keys at our the server side and CSL feature for DRM helps in controlling the live streaming
