DoveRunner is looking for a Information Technology Specialist to join us in our India office, Bangalore.

Role Overview: –

We are seeking a talented and experienced Information Technology Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, compliance knowledge, and outstanding interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems, compliance with regulatory frameworks, and providing exceptional service delivery.

What you will do

  1. Compliance and Regulatory Standards:
    • Recommend improvements to compliance-related processes within the IT department.
    • Collaborate with the Infrastructure team to achieve compliance with ISO 27001, and other security standards.
    • Develop, implement, and maintain an information security compliance program.
  2. Policy and Procedure Management:
    • Draft and refine IT policies and procedures to align with corporate standards.
    • Ensure that appropriate controls are implemented and operational.
  3. Audit and Risk Management:
    • Conduct audit readiness assessments and coordinate with internal and external audit functions.
    • Develop and analyze security metrics to assess compliance and risk levels, and provide actionable recommendations.
  4. IT Operations and Support:
    • Oversee IT infrastructure service delivery for internal customers.
    • Review IT support helpdesk partner services
  5. Incident and Asset Management:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for top management in incident resolution.
    • Coordinate with resolver groups to ensure timely issue resolution or escalation.
    • Implement and maintain baseline security for all new and existing laptops.
  6. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with the Information Security Team and other business units to understand challenges and develop tailored solutions.
    • Establish and maintain credibility with senior leadership, colleagues, and clients.

It must be you if you had

  • Experience:
    • 5+ years in IT operations, preferably with experience supporting a global team.
    • Exposure to IT asset management systems that help track and present IT assets through dashboards for enhanced visibility and oversight.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Proficiency in creating service level dashboards and MIS reports.
    • Advanced knowledge of technology hardware, including desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, printers, projectors, and scanners.
    • Endpoint Protection, Windows, DLP and patch management expertise for end-user devices.
    • Familiarity with IT support tools such as Active Directory and service desk software.
    • Experience in managing Google Workspace, MS teams to support entire company employees globally. 
    • Have a curiosity for tech with a strong desire to learn and develop new skills.
  • Compliance and Security:
    • Strong ability to interpret, implement, and manage audit and security compliance requirements, including ISO 27001, SOC2, and CIS/NIST benchmarks.
    • Hands-on experience with IT Helpdesk and inventory tools to support compliance-related processes and reporting.
  • Interpersonal Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining compliance concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Proven track record of working effectively with senior leadership, internal and external auditors, consultants, and legal affairs teams.
  • Operating Systems:
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Linux and Mac OS.
    • Demonstrated success in IT compliance and operations within a regulatory environment.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
